Dervish
My first NF character. Abdiel is the name of the chief seraphim angel in John Milton's "Paradise Lost", a paragon of virtue and faith, Pathema is ancient Greek for suffering, so, the name means 'faith in suffering'.
Warrior
My first GW character and currently my main man. Finished up Prophesies and am roaming through NF and GWEN with him now.
Cyrael is constructed from the word Cyrenaic, which is a philosophy of pleasure, and the suffix -ael commonly used in angelic names, meaning 'of God'. Apostelos is ancient Greek for "Apostle' or 'proclaimer'. So, the name means "messenger of the pleasure of God"
Paragon
Veriel is my second NF character. I'm finding paragon to be a fun primary profession, but we'll see if she continues to be so. Veriel is a construction of latin 'veritas' meaning truth and the angelic suffix -iel meaning 'of God'; Angelos is ancient Greek for messenger and is the root of the English word 'angel'. So, Veriel Angelos means "messenger of God's truth"; fitting for a paragon, no?
